Caesars Entertainment and Sun Country Airlines have signed a new five-year charter agreement, the Minneapolis-based low-cost passenger and cargo airline announced last Thursday. Due to the deal, Sun Country will provide two aircraft to support Caesars’ charter needs in a series of key destinations.

The agreement restarts a relationship between the two organizations, which ended in late 2020. The new partnership will begin in March 2022 and will be “fully ramped up” in the second quarter of 2022, according to a press release.

The agreement calls for two aircraft to provide charter service for the gaming giant’s guests. The initial aircraft will be based in Laughlin, Nevada, and Gulfport, Mississippi. The contract further allows for additional aircraft to be added as needed, in order to meet “the growing needs of Caesars.”

“Sun Country is thrilled to partner with Caesars to provide reliable charter service for their guests,” said Grant Whitney, Sun Country Airlines Chief Revenue Officer. “Charter operations are a key component of our diversified business model and the great employees of Sun Country allow us to differentiate ourselves in the charter market.” Sun Country Airlines currently also operates flights out of the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in partnership with Beau Rivage Resort and Casino.

Caesars will now be able to fly its Caesars Rewards members to a series of destinations across the country, including THE ROW Reno; Harrah’s and Harveys Lake Tahoe; Harrah’s and Tropicana Laughlin; Harrah’s Gulf Coast; and Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Tropicana Atlantic City.

“We look forward to offering this convenient and reliable charter service to our guests and exploring opportunities to expand our partnership,” said Anthony Carano, President and Chief Operating Officer of Caesars Entertainment.

As part of its rewards program, the company offers its Caesars Rewards Air experience, with flights departing from more than 150 cities nationwide in the US. The gaming company also offers exclusive packages, including round-trip transportation aboard charter flights, hotel accommodations and complimentary ground transportation.
