Wynn Macau announced Sunday that Craig Billings will become Chief Executive Officer as of February 1, when he will also assume to post at parent brand, Wynn Resorts, thus succeeding Matthew Maddox at both firms.

The appointment of Billings was announced last month. Maddox will remain on Wynn Macau’s board until the end of 2022 as a non-executive director, to assist matters linked to the expiry in June next year of the brand’s current Macau gaming rights, as the company stated in a Hong Kong stock exchange filing which took place on Sunday.

Billings is the CEO of Wynn Interactive, Wynn Resorts’ online betting unit. It was stated during Friday’s filing that “subject to the completion of certain Macau regulatory procedures, Billings will become chairman of the board of directors of the brand’s Macau concession holding unit, Wynn Resorts (Macau) SA.” WynnBET last month announced the appointment of Ian Williams as President of Wynn Interactive.

Billings’ previous experience in the gaming industry includes work as chief digital officer and managing director of strategy and business development for Aristocrat Leisure.
