iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play is launching a Christmas Operator Tournament running from the 8th to the 19th of December, the company announced on Wednesday. The event features €100,000 in giveaways to operators.
The free-to-play tournament is open to employees of Pragmatic Play partners and will see the provider giving away 100 cash prizes, worth a total of €100,000, in what is “arguably the largest operator tournament of its kind,” according to a press release.
“Pragmatic Play will continue to go above and beyond for its clients over the festive season,” said the company in a statement. Of all participants, the one who gets the highest total win while playing Christmas Big Bass Bonanza will take the top prize, consisting of €50,000 in cash. The title, announced earlier this month, is the latest instalment in the seasonal Big Bas Bonanza series. It takes players on an “icy adventure with a joyful-looking Santa.”
Prizes will be distributed to the top 100 players based on the total win amount in descending order, from highest to lowest. “Players can get a feeling of friendly and fair competition as their overall position on the leaderboard is visible on the right side of the screen,” explains Pragmatic Play.

Players will be able to “easily access the tournament” through a simple registration process, while the entire flow of the event will be “smooth and seamless,” highlighting the resources and effort the company poured into the competition.

The Christmas Operator Tournament is an extension of Pragmatic Play’s free-to-play Social Tournaments, which run throughout the year. By the end of 2021 Pragmatic Play will have given away €130,000 to operators, according to the company.
Alongside the Social Tournaments, Pragmatic Play also offers its player-focused Drops and Wins promotion, where the company gives away €1,000,000 each month to players as part of a move to aid operators’ retention strategy.
