Sports betting and online casino brand MaximBetannounced Thursday its launch in two new U.S. markets, Indiana and Iowa, as part of its ongoing national expansion strategy. After this launch, the company expects to go live in several additional North American markets during 2022.

Owned and operated by Carousel Group, part of China-based ZK International Group Co.’s portfolio, and in partnership with lifestyle brand Maxim, MaximBet launched in Colorado last September. The sportsbook pledges to reward its players with “real world, money-can’t-buy experiences and best-in-class customer service”.

Daniel Graetzer, CEO of MaximBet, spoke about the company’s new entrance into two states and said: “Indiana and Iowa represent a prime opportunity for MaximBet to bring its world-class sportsbook and unparalleled real-life experiences to two of the most passionate sports markets in the country. Sports betting has been a boon for both states since 2019, but sports fans have never experienced anything like the MaximBet LIVE parties, athlete and celebrity meet-and-greets, and in-person entertainment that MaximBet will bring”.

MaximBet Live, a division of MaximBet specializing in parties and events, will soon announce kickoff parties for each state featuring entertainers, celebrities, prizes and rewards for current and new customers. The company has recently hosted a star-studded event in Los Angeles during the weekend of Super Bowl LVI featuring artists like The Chainsmokers, Lil Baby, Gunna and more.

Following its launch in Colorado last year, MaximBet has earned a 75% month over month handle gross the last three months and surpassing expectations in both customer acquisition and retention.

Back in January, MaximBet announced it had entered into a multi-year partnership with Kambi and White Hat Gaming, falling in line with its expansion strategy, which would see MaximBet integrate Kambi’s sportsbook platform into its technology stack, aiding the brand’s strategy to accelerate its growth throughout North America.

The company has also recently launched its first free-to-play platform, MaximBet Play, in partnership with provider Splash Tech.

The states that MaximBet will soon launch have recently reported record numbers in sports betting handle, corresponding to the first month of the year. Indiana Gaming Commission reported the state wagered more than half-billion dollars on sporting events during January, while Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission announced more than $300 million was wagered on sporting events in the same period.
