The next East Coast Gaming Congress and NexGen Gaming Forum, which will be held on September 21-23 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Atlantic City, will see a panel of Wall Street analysts gather to study and discuss the gaming industry from a financial perspective.

The speakers will address whether traditional casino companies’ acquisition of digital providers, technology companies, and even media companies are panning out. “Is it smart for sports betting and iGaming operators to spend lavishly on advertising and promotions? Also, what does the future hold for casinos that are now facing competition from digital gaming and even their own state lotteries?”, a press release asks.

Set to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, the panel will be moderated by David Isaacson, Senior Vice President, Spectrum Gaming Capital, and the Wall Street analysts and investors who will take part in the “Analyze This” discussion include:

  • Gabriel Fineberg, Vice President, Beach Point Capital Management
  • Colin Mansfield, Sector Head, US Gaming, Lodging & Leisure, Fitch Ratings
  • Joel Simkins, Managing Director, Houlihan Lokey
  • Teddy Swigert, Managing Director, Credit Suisse

The conference will kick off with an opening reception on Wednesday, September 21. There also will be three keynote addresses during the conference and a networking cocktail party on Thursday evening.

Additional panel discussions will focus on issues facing the industry, including:

  • Sports Betting: Which Model is Working Best?
  • Is Gaming Growing Responsibly?
  • Gaming Revenues Going Up in Smoke?
  • The Best Things in Gaming Right Now Are …
  • State Regulators: Keeping Their Promise to Keep Pace
  • Whither iGaming?
  • Creating One Industry: Lotteries, Gaming

“East Coast Gaming Congress will provide attendees with valuable insight and education by those most knowledgeable about this evolving industry, as well as outstanding opportunities for networking, professional development, and business-to-business discussions,” its organizers stated.

The East Coast Gaming Congress & NexGen Gaming Forum is organized and produced by Cooper Levenson, Spectrum Gaming Group, Sports Illustrated Sportsbook, and Esports Entertainment Group.

Last week, the event’s organizers confirmed New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy will deliver a luncheon keynote address, marking the fourth time that Murphy participates. His presence falls in line with a longstanding tradition that started in 1996 of governors of New Jersey addressing the East Coast’s industry.
