Gaming supplier Aruze Gaming America announced Thursday that it has signed a new deal with manufacturer and distributor Play Synergy, part of Empire-Akkadian. The exclusive licensing agreement approves Aruze’s suite of titles for use in Class II and Historical Horse Racing across all North American jurisdictions on Play Synergy’s Speed and Hyper Speed Cabinet.

The deal grants each company access to new market opportunities not available independently, a press release notes. Play Synergy can now expand its suite of offerings with Aruze’s line; while Aruze is now able to expand its brand into new markets.

Both companies will tackle market expansion by joining together as two independent brands with one goal: “Bring more types of games to more types of players,” Aruze said.

The company will now expand its titles into previously unreached jurisdictions, with a gambling experience that includes traditional video slots and ETGs. As the inventor of Activ-Play technology, demonstrated through titles such as Rock Paper Scissors Instant Win and the Go Go Claw, the brand “encourages players to participate actively” in their gambling experience. “It’s the fun of an arcade with the excitement of the casino,” claims Aruze.

Play Synergy is a supplier of table game technology and video slot machines. The company has also expanded its product line of table games and accessories with a portfolio of live-play games. While table games remain the foundation of the company, Play Synergy has “been very successful with its unique line of award-winning video reel-spinning slots and cabinets with placements throughout North American casinos,” Aruze explained.

Rob Ziems, President of Aruze Gaming America, said: “This partnership not only brings two leading companies together, but it also brings our best and most exciting titles to new markets across North America. Our partnership with Play Synergy has made expanding into Class II and HHR an obvious choice for us to bring our award-winning fun to even more gamers and gamblers.”

Frank Feng, President of Play Synergy, added: “Class II and HHR are all about content. By expanding our partnership with Aruze, we gain immediate access to an extensive library of popular game themes as well as a library of themes that have not yet reached Class II and HHR.”
