Wind Creek Hospitality a business arm of Alabama-based Poarch Band of Creek Indians — announced Thursday a multi-year partnership with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls as its Official Casino.

Through the partnership, Wind Creek will collaborate with the Bulls on in-game fan promotions and other entertainment options this year while Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino and Resort is under construction, which will expand in future years once the new Wind Creek facility opens its doors to the public in East Hazel Crest & Homewood.

Effective immediately, Wind Creek signage will be featured on games at United Center, with additional fan engagement elements to roll out in the coming weeks.

Brent Pinkston, COO of Wind Creek Hospitality, said: “As a new brand coming to the Chicagoland market, we believed it was important to establish a name for ourselves and a level of credibility with the local market as quickly as possible.”

“Being a native of the region, I can’t imagine a better way to accomplish that task than to partner with the Bulls organization and introduce ourselves to one of the largest and most loyal fan bases in professional sports. It lets us enter the market with a huge voice,” Pinkston added.

For his part, Mark Levitt, Bulls Vice Present of Business Development, commented: “We are excited to partner with Wind Creek over the next few seasons to bring fans new in-arena competitions, social content, and sweepstakes. This new partnership will support our ongoing efforts to further elevate the gameday experience for Bulls fans at the United Center and across our social platforms.”

Groundbreaking for Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino and Resort

Wind Creek Hospitality manages a number of gaming facilities for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, among them the upcoming Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino and Resort. The company celebrated the start of construction on its $440 million Chicago Southland casino property earlier this year. The venue, slated to open in 2023, will be built off I-80 near Halsted Street and 175th Street in the south suburban communities of East Hazel Crest and Homewood.

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is set to feature a 70,000-square-foot casino with 1,350 slot machines, 56 table games, entertainment, dining, and a 252-room luxury hotel. Wind Creek Hospitality was chosen by the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) to develop a Four Diamond casino and entertainment destination in the south suburban area on December 8, 2021, beating other submissions from suburban municipalities such as Calumet City and Matteson.
