iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play has announced the release of a new Asian culture-themed slot called Mystery of the Orient.

This new title is played across 5×3 reels with symbols depicting tigers, gold and the game’s sword-wielding female protagonist. These are joined by a wild which can substitute any other symbols except the free spin awarding bonus, making it easier to form a winning combination across the slot’s 243 winning ways.

Mystery symbols are also present on the reels, and at the end of a spin can reveal additional wilds with a random multiplier attached to them. Extra free spins symbols or scatters with five of these are needed to unlock the grand jackpot prize of 8,000x.

At least three free spin symbols are required to award 15 free spins, with more spins being unlocked for additional symbols. Here, the mystery feature has been further upgraded and can now reveal reel size increase icons that improve the winning ways throughout all subsequent spins.

These mystery symbols can also now reveal extra spins, which work in tandem with the ability to retrigger the free spins round by landing bonus symbols, “allowing for a multitude of opportunities to increase the spins awarded and gain wins.”

This release follows recent titles such as Wild Wild Riches Megaways and Club Tropicana. The news comes on the same week the company launched a cowboy-themed adventure named Wild West Duels, featuring numerous bonuses.

Played across 5×5 reels, this gun-slinging title features Western-themed symbols and characters that must form a matching combination across the slot’s 15 paylines to award a win.

And earlier this month, the company announced the release of Peak Power, a 5×3 reel slot described as a high volatility title by the supplier, which is played across 10 paylines and features symbols inspired by the elements, with fire and water combined with traditional bar symbols.
