The IGB L!VE expo, which runs from 11th – 14th July at the RAI Amsterdam, will feature an official address delivered by a senior politician along with a representative of the Ministry of Finance Curaçao. The address will take place at 11.40 am on 12 July.
A video address by the Curaçao Minister of Finance, Javier Silvania, will be followed by a face-to-face update delivered by Sixenne Jansen, the Legal Advisor to the Minister.
Jansen will address all of the key questions being asked by operators and applicants, including details of the application process and requirements that come into effect on 1st September, the continuity process of the sublicenses license, as well as other details relating to the new legislation and timings.

Javier Silvania is the latest senior high-profile government figure to participate in iGB L!VE, a press release issued on the matter stated. The iGB L!VE Opening Panel includes other senior policymakers and advisors representing France, The Netherlands and Malta.
The trio comprises Eric Sjöden, Presidency’s Advisor, European and International Affairs, at French Regulator ANJ; Geraldine Huijssoon, Head of Analysis and Research, Kansspelautoriteit, The Netherlands; and Dr Martina Cilia, Senior Legal Counsel, Malta Gaming Authority.
Prior to the Opening Panel, René Janssen, Chairman of the KSA, will be providing an analysis of the ban on untargeted advertising for online games of chance in the Netherlands.
