California’s Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln is set to host multiple job fairs in September to fill over 100 full and part-time positions.

Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the Thunder Valley Employment Center for walk-in interviews encompassing food and beverage, security, table games, culinary, and housekeeping and internal maintenance positions. Completed online applications are preferred upon arrival, the casino noted.

Here is the schedule for the month:

  • Tuesday, September 5 – (10am-1pm): Housekeeping and Internal Maintenance
  • Wednesday, September 6 – (10am-1pm): Food and Beverage
  • Tuesday, September 12 – (1pm-4pm): Table Games (open to experienced dealers)
  • Wednesday, September 13 – (10am-1pm): Culinary
  • Friday, September 15 – (10am-1pm): Security
  • Saturday, September 16 – (10am-2pm): Open Job Fair
  • Tuesday, September 19 – (10am-1pm): Housekeeping and Internal Maintenance
  • Wednesday, September 20 – (10am-1pm): Food and Beverage
  • Tuesday, September 26 – (1pm-4pm): Table Games (open to experienced dealers)
  • Wednesday, September 27 – (10am-1pm): Culinary
  • Friday, September 29 – (10am-1pm): Security

Positions to be filled include housekeepers, housepersons, janitorial porters, emergency medical technicians, security officers, cage cashiers, table games dealers, food servers, cooks, bakers, food court attendants, bus persons, beverage servers, beverage porters, and kitchen workers.

All Thunder Valley employees receive one free meal per shift, 401k matching funds, leadership development training, opportunities for advancement, free health and wellness counseling, reward incentives and select discounts at Thunder Valley.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and successfully pass a drug and background check in order to work at the property. Based on the nature of the job, some select positions require applicants to be at least 21 years of age. Parking for the job fairs is located in Thunder Valley’s employment parking area in the FF lot, according to the casino.
