Multinational gaming company Codere announced the launch of its first Poker Room in Mexico City, as well as the launch of the Codere Poker Series brand. The new space is located in Casino Codere Meneo, in Colonia Nápoles.

During the inauguration ceremony, which included live music shows, the Director of Operations, Francisco Vidal Caamaño, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and the speed -from three to four weeks- with which this initiative took place. “We are very excited about this poker room, which will undoubtedly be a before and after for gambling in the Mexican capital and in the country,” he said.

For his part, Marcelo Silva, regional director of Live Gaming for LatAm at Codere, said: “We believe in the potential of Mexican poker and we want to do our bit to position it at an international level.

According to Silva, Codere sustains its comprehensive experience on three fundamental pillars: customer experience, international standards (implementation of TDA rules and state-of-the-art software), and strategic alliances (with renowned brands that add value to the proposal).

The new Poker Room at Casino Codere Meneo “offers a complete experience”, said the company and detailed that it covers from the practice of the game to the participation in festivals and tournaments. This space has 10 high-quality professional tables, including one designed for live transmissions.

In addition, the room is equipped with private areas for complete immersion, as well as exclusive meetings that promote passion and excitement for poker.

Codere Poker Series

In addition to the poker room, Codere launched the Codere Poker Series, a new brand that reinforces the company’s commitment to offering a multiple and diverse entertainment experience for its customers.

“We are Codere, a leading entertainment company with a presence in seven countries, and today we also have a new brand which is Codere Poker Series,” Silva added

“This launch reinforces our commitment to our customers, which is to offer them a range of multi-entertainment that enhances their experience at all times,” said Leonardo Desentis, Marketing Director for LatAm at Codere.

According to the specialized media Código Poker, the objective of this initiative will be to strengthen the brand and transform Mexico into an important venue for international competition. To this end, an important goal will be to achieve the first tournament that exceeds 2,000 entries.
