The Osage Nation is set to inaugurate its second casino within a two-month span this Thursday. Osage Casinos Bartlesville will celebrate its ribbon-cutting and grand opening that day, welcoming its first guests to the property, spread across 125 acres. This establishment boasts 521 slot machines, over 6,000 square feet allocated for meetings, and a 102-room hotel, according to a Tulsa World report.
Covering a sprawling 153,151 square feet, the new casino features amenities such as a pool, hot tub area, patio, and dedicated parking space. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, will include remarks from key officials and guided tours. Following the ceremony, the facility will be accessible to the public.
“Another exciting new property for Osage Casinos, the Bartlesville casino and hotel will generate revenue, entertainment, and engagement to the community,” the report said, citing a news release.
Located at 1803 U.S. 60, approximately 3 miles to the west of downtown Bartlesville, the casino will be graced by a welcoming address from Osage Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear during the celebration.
This opening closely follows the inauguration of the Osage Casino and Hotel in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The facility features 47 hotel rooms, a full-service restaurant, 259 slot machines, and over 3,000 square feet of event space. The property is about 25 miles west of Bartlesville.
Osage Casinos currently oversees seven gaming and entertainment properties within Osage County, focusing on gaming opportunities, event venues, hotels, poolside entertainment, and convenience stores.
Established in 2002, Osage Casinos holds a crucial role in generating revenue that supports the requirements of the Osage Nation and the state, according to the release. The business entity operates under the governance of the Osage Nation Gaming Enterprise Board.
