The annual SiGMA Europe gaming exhibition drew over 20,000 participants from 100 countries this month, providing a platform for industry players to connect and share insights. For iGaming software and business solutions supplier Slotegrator, the event was “truly inspirational,” with the team now ready to share its insights.

The event facilitated a comprehensive reflection on the year, allowing Slotegrator to synthesize valuable insights gathered from events held in various global iGaming markets – Africa, Asia, LatAm, and Europe. This aims to align the company’s offerings with evolving customer demands, player interests, and market dynamics.

SiGMA Europe 2023 in Malta served as a venue for Slotegrator to showcase the latest enhancements to its turnkey online casino platform. The spotlight was also on their Telegram Casino mobile solution, first introduced in 2017 and updated in 2022.

Throughout the event, Slotegrator’s top executives held meetings with partners, emphasizing the opportunities provided by the company’s APIgrator solution. This offering facilitates the seamless integration of over 15,000 diverse games – including slots, card games, live dealer games, and virtual sports – from 100 developers into gambling platforms. In 2024, Slotegrator says it will present to the market “plenty of new partnerships with providers from different parts of the world.”

Yana Khaidukova, Managing Director at Slotegrator, said: “SiGMA Europe 2023 was a great event for our team, as usual. To gather in such a great place to meet partners, to summarize preliminary results of the year, to outline plans for the future – it was the right decision.”

Moreover, Slotegrator highlighted the shifting dynamics within the iGaming sector, noting the emergence of new companies carving out fresh market niches with innovative solutions, intensifying competition and steering industry evolution.

As for providers, their number is increasing very rapidly, says Slotegrator. Small companies are growing into large ones, which shows the success of their solutions, and new companies come with fresh ideas, games and experiences that players like.

Among the trends identified by Slotegrator is the escalating interest in crash games. Studios like Aviatrix continue to innovate and expand these games into new markets, captivating players with new gaming experiences.

As for other market trends at the expo, observing a notable presence of Asian companies at the SiGMA Europe meeting, Slotegrator foresees a heightened focus on the Asian market in the coming year.

The company also shared additional insights from SiGMA Europe that Slotegrator says will carry into the next year:

  • Responsible Gaming is growing more and more important to players, operators, and regulators.
  • It’s essential to embrace innovation. New technologies can let operators offer players more choices and solve problems faster and more effectively.
  • Operators need to keep increasing their security and anti-fraud measures. Scammers are always on the lookout for new ways to defraud casinos, so operators need to try and stay a few steps ahead of them.
  • Players want to be a part of a community. Platform operators should create a welcoming atmosphere by offering features like multiplayer chats where players can connect with each other.
  • It’s essential that online casinos show loyal players their appreciation. Better bonuses can keep players coming back, as well as referral programs where players earn rewards for bringing in new leads.
  • Cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and blockchain tech in general are here to stay. Finding ways to integrate them can help you offer your players a better, more modern experience.
  • Player behavior should be constantly analyzed in order to identify trends and enhance player retention strategies.
