iGaming software and business solutions provider Slotegrator is gearing up to showcase a slew of its online casino management modules and innovations at this year’s ICE London, scheduled from February 6 to 8 at ExCel. Among them, the company is most excited about its AI capabilities, powering solutions including its turnkey online casino platform.

In an interview with Yogonet, Yana Khaidukova, Managing Director at Slotegrator, discusses the company’s use of cutting-edge technology and noted that through artificial intelligence, databases of any scale can be scanned and verified instantly. She also delved into the company’s various products and services, including Telegram Casino, as well as the provider’s expectations from the event.

What will be the main focus of Slotegrator’s exhibit at ICE London this year?

Attending ICE is an annual tradition for Slotegrator, and every year, we look forward to showcasing our innovative solutions — and 2024 will be no exception. This year, we are presenting the AI-powered capabilities of our turnkey online casino platform, as well as our Telegram Casino solution.

Those capabilities are found in the following modules:

  • The Casino Builder module, which enhances the user experience and gives operators complete control over their project’s front end.
  • The Risk Management module, which provides added security while the KYC module streamlines player verification.
  • The Artificial BI module, which offers real-time data for informed decision-making.
  • The revamped player segmentation module, which offers improved customization options.
  • The anti-fraud module, which utilizes a color-coded risk scale that allows operators to set risk levels.

The Slotegrator team will also be demonstrating Telegram Casino, an innovative online gambling platform seamlessly integrated with the popular messaging app of the same name. Slotegrator proudly pioneered this solution, which is effective for venturing into new niches and captivating a fresh wave of players.

In 2024, the Slotegrator team is looking forward to meeting partners and clients in ExCel London at booth number N6-250.

What makes your AI-integrated turnkey online casino platform stand out in the iGaming landscape? How exactly does AI advance the overall online casino experience?

The Slotegrator team is always looking for ways to improve our clients’ businesses. After taking careful feedback, we re-examined every element of our platform to see what we could improve and what was missing altogether. The result? A new, better-than-ever platform with all the tools operators need.

Two standout features are the Business Intelligence module, which uses AI for up-to-the-minute business data, and the new and improved KYC module, which lets operators set a list of specific documents that players need to supply in order to speed up the ID verification process on both ends. It can also set a blacklist of IP addresses that are blocked from using the site, making it easy to stay in compliance with regulators who prohibit them from accepting players from certain geographical areas.

Artificial Intelligence makes the whole process even faster — databases of any scale can be scanned and verified instantly. The checks don’t require a huge team of employees, eliminating the possibility of human error.

Here’s a quick rundown of some of the other advantages:

  • Process automation. Most online casino processes can be automated: registration, deposits, withdrawals, bonus systems, gathering business intelligence data, etc.
  • Enhanced security and player safety. AI offers increased protection during both gameplay and transactions. This is important for combating fraud and for the development of responsible gaming.
  • Faster, better customer service. Chatbots, which offer personalized assistance to casino customers, are quickly becoming indispensable. In addition, they can give players tips and game recommendations — and their 24/7 availability is another big advantage.
  • Enhanced marketing optimization. Using artificial intelligence systems, casinos can analyze customer behavior and preferences, segment them, and offer special promotions. This allows casinos to tailor marketing campaigns and promotions for most of their customers.

Given the current rate of technological advancement, I’m sure this list will only continue to grow.

Given ICE London’s status as one of the industry’s major global events, what are the company’s key goals for the event?

ICE London 2024 stands out as the premier global event for gambling businesses. That’s why we have such high expectations for ourselves. The industry always looks forward to ICE because the event sets the tone for the rest of the year.

This year, there will be more than 45,000 trailblazing attendees who are ready to engage in dialogue, embrace new innovations, and create original solutions for the iGaming industry. This is definitely the place to be for anyone serious about developing their iGaming brand.

Slotegrator’s key goals for the event are the following:

We’re incredibly excited about the opportunity to network with industry professionals and connect with our customers.

How would you describe the industry’s and your clients’ current demands at the time? What markets will you focus on at the expo?

At the end of 2023, we presented an analysis of the modern iGaming audience. Let me share some of our key findings on what the modern iGaming audience wants:

  • 75% of Slotegrator’s clients either agree or strongly agree that players will almost exclusively use mobile devices to play in the next five years.

  • 75% of our clients claim that younger players are more drawn to new
formats such as crash games.
  • 75% of game developers surveyed either currently offer crash games or are planning to do so in the future. This also indicates the growing popularity of the format.
  • 87.5% of our clients agree that adding new types of games helps to acquire new player segments.
  • 50% of our clients believe that implementing provably fair games and/ or crash games is essential to attract young players.

About key markets, I can say that we are focused on the LatAm market. As Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming, mentioned in a recent interview, there is a great deal of interest in Latin America, and much of the international industry is seeking to enter or expand in Latin America and Brazil.

Another exciting market for us is Asia. Recently, we shared our analysis of the region in an article titled ‘Which Asian markets should you bet on in 2024?’.

The event comes as we enter a new year for gambling. What is your assessment of how the sector developed in 2023, and what should we expect from it in 2024?

Last year saw surging adoption of AI integration in the iGaming industry. In my opinion, this has only been the first phase, and we should start seeing further steps in the near future.

2023 was very eventful in terms of gambling market regulations. These changes have led to responsible gambling development, which is an important step for the industry. Yes, that means higher standards and tighter regulations, but player safety is integral to the continued existence of the regulated market, so really it’s a win-win.

In 2024, these trends will continue, and even accelerate. The Slotegrator team is planning to do its part through Slotegrator Academy, with its focus on research and case studies, which can really clarify such important issues for our clients.

As for upcoming trends, we pinpoint the spread of crash games, the worldwide growth of the sports betting market, VR integration in esports, the continued rise of mobile versions as the standard, and the increasing use of AI in online casinos to enhance security, personalize player experiences, and promote responsible gaming. AI also provides market insights, SEO improvement, and affiliate traffic analysis, so it’s no wonder that many game and software providers already use AI in their products and solutions.

What other industry events does the company plan to attend this year?

ICE 2024 will kick off a string of events for Slotegrator. The next stop will be at SiGMA Eurasia in Dubai. After that, we are planning to visit SBC events, Casino Beats Summit, iGB LiVE, SiGMA, and SiGMA Europe Summit.
