After a year of growth, marked by its network’s expansion to over 15,000 global partners and a 20% surge in new collaborations, Alpha Affiliates prepares to be part of the 2024 edition of iGB London, to be held from February 6 to 9 at the ExCel exhibition center.

At the meeting, the affiliate company will allow attendees to explore deals for its top brands, raffle exclusively-made branded items, and network with partners and potential clients. To learn more about these plans, Yogonet talked to Boris Pashnev, CEO at Alpha Affiliates.

What will Alpha Affiliates focus on this year at iGB Affiliate?

We’re proud to say that we are one of the main sponsors of the special branded zones this year, the Prince Regent entrance arch and Exclusive East entrance cube assets at the ExCel. At iGB, we will be giving affiliates the opportunity to gain exclusive insight and offers into our top brands – Casino Infinity, 1Red, Neospin and Spinch. In addition, we will be sharing more about our company vision and values, plus teasing new partnerships we’ve got in the works for 2024.

We’re also excited to be sharing merchandise in collaboration with iGB. Attendees & partners will have a chance to test our specialty co-branded hoodies at the event and enter a raffle for one of the Alpha-branded hoodies on our social media before the event begins.

Given iGB Affiliate’s status as one of the major global events in the sector, what are the company’s key goals for the meeting?

One of our key goals is definitely to network. We place significant value on networking and building solid relationships within these events to create a thriving community of affiliates. We aim to gain a stronger understanding of our affiliates’ wants and needs for the future to better shape the way we progress.

With such a diverse collective of attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors, we also want to take this as an opportunity to form new partnerships, explore various trends within the industry, and generate some significant leads.

We also plan to meet with our long-term partners and strengthen our relationships. We believe it’s important to not only focus on creating new partnerships but maintaining existing relationships, in order to build trust and loyalty within our community.

Finally, we will be attending the iGaming Club event, organized by Affpapa on February 6th. Here, we plan to find new partners and get to know new people within our industry.

What markets and trends will you focus on at the expo?

iGB presents ample opportunities to explore different trends and markets. Being in London, this is a great opportunity for us to network within this region and establish ourselves as a trusted business within the UK’s thriving iGaming sector.

Due to the success of this industry, we are seeing a more competitive market. More people are starting to venture into affiliate marketing, particularly within iGaming, which means we have to stay ahead, ensure we continue supporting our affiliates, and showcase successes.

With regards to markets, as iGB attracts an international crowd, we will continue to focus on establishing ourselves in the LATAM, Australian and Neozealandian regions with our newest offerings.

The event comes as we enter a new year for iGaming. What is your assessment of how the sector developed in 2023?

iGaming has seen immense growth over the past few years, and we don’t expect this to slow down this year. We’ve experienced technological shifts as well as changes in consumer behavior, all of which influence the way affiliates operate within this industry. For instance, 95% of online casino players now use their mobile devices, and almost every online casino allows deposits in various cryptocurrencies.

Jurisdictions are increasingly introducing new regulations, even last year we saw the shift toward more regulated iGaming and sports betting across the globe, with countries beginning to embrace the opportunities this industry has to offer. This drives the introduction of new jobs, which contributes to successful and growing economies. I think these are just a few of the contributing factors to how our industry is evolving and how successful of a market we work in.

What should we expect from the industry in 2024

This year, I expect we will see the effect of new technologies on iGaming, specifically in simplifying the lives of both players and operators. As a result, we expect an uptake in cryptocurrencies, virtual reality (VR) and metaverses, all of which have the potential to replace offline casinos. While I don’t believe a total shift is within our immediate future, I believe we will see operators and affiliates use these more frequently as they test how these technologies can benefit them.

Lastly, we believe there is a drive to focus on more responsible gambling. At Alpha Affiliates, we are fully licensed to operate across iGaming platforms in the jurisdictions we reside in, and we are committed to ensuring responsible participation in our services. In the next year, we will continue to promote healthy and responsible gambling practices.

What other industry events does the company plan to attend this year?

This year we are planning on attending the different SiGMA summits in Dubai, Amsterdam, Budapest, Malta and also SBC Lisbon. We feel these are important events to both attend and participate in, to build a strong network and better understand what’s going on in the industry, the challenges we might be facing and how we can overcome these moving forward.
