Changes are underway at CasaBlanca Resort & Casino as plans for a $6 million renovation have been unveiled under new ownership. The resort, situated in the heart of Mesquite, Nevada, is set to undergo comprehensive remodeling, eyeing completion by fall this year.

Justin Moore, CEO of Mesquite Gaming, said: “This substantial investment being made by our new ownership group will have a transformational impact on the casino and showroom, elevating the Casablanca Resort experience for all guests. Every dollar will go into making this already successful resort more welcoming and enjoyable for our customers.”

The renovation, valued at approximately $6 million, is slated to commence in May and is expected to be completed by the fall of this year. Among the key highlights of the project is the addition of over 200 new slots to the gaming floor.

Furthermore, the new CasaBlanca Showroom will be outfitted with comfortable seating arrangements, including bar stools, high-top tables, and lounge areas for guests to relax and socialize while enjoying live entertainment or watching games.

In addition to expanding the gaming floor, the renovation will focus on doubling the size of the Center Bar and introducing a new sports bar. Despite the construction work, all operations and amenities at the property will remain open to guests throughout the remodeling phase, ensuring minimal disruption.

Leading the remodeling efforts are Steelman Partners, an international architecture and interior design firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with experience in designs for the gaming and hospitality industry for clients including Genting Group, MGM Resorts, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Wynn Las Vegas, and Caesars Entertainment.

Collaborating with Steelman Partners is Harris Associates, a general contracting firm that also has a track record of gaming and hospitality projects. Some of their notable projects include Kassi Beach House at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, High Limit Slots Lounge at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at MGM Grand Hotel, and Palms Fantasy Executive Suite.
