The authorities of SAGSE Latam 2024 closed yesterday the event’s 32nd edition in Buenos Aires, giving a very positive review of what was experienced this week at the Hilton Hotel & Convention Center.

The outcome is, undoubtedly, very positive. We worked to offer an exclusive event of a high international level, designed to be productive for the exhibitors and effective for the time required by the operators and regulators visiting us, and the result exceeded the best estimates we had… The public massively walked the halls of the fair, the support of the companies was overwhelming and the satisfaction of all is the best summary of our balance”, explained Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie, in an exclusive interview with Yogonet during the closing of the event.

During Wednesday, March 20, and Thursday, March 21, Monografie bet on repeating the formula of 2023 but improving those factors that required a new look. The result? A very effective format for the exhibitors, and a gathering that, without losing its exclusive character, managed to be very important at an international level, and attract the main regulators and operators in Argentina, both from the land-based and online world.

Yesterday, from 3:00 p.m. onwards, the proposal repeated what was experienced on Wednesday, with a mix of networking and product exhibition that summoned hundreds of executives and entrepreneurs, many of them from abroad, achieving crowded aisles until its closing, minutes after 8:00 p.m.

The international character of the visitors was another of the points highlighted by the organizers: “More than 74% of our visitors were international executives and entrepreneurs, with a 23% growth in the total number of visitors compared to 2023. We had a strong presence of Brazilian executives at the exhibition (26%, one out of every four visitors), as well as operators and authorities from Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, Central America, and the Caribbean, which allows us to reaffirm the regional character of SAGSE, and honor our slogan #WeAreLatam (We Are Latin America)”.

In general terms, the evaluation of the companies present was in line with the positive vision of the organizers, supported in many cases by the moment of recovery expected for the local market, with the change of authorities in the country since last December, and in addition to the strengthening of the online market at the national level.

All these features were reflected in the online publication of the event, a catalog that can be read online or downloaded for free at the official website of the expo.

“We want to thank the support of the companies participating in SAGSE since more than 260 companies were represented among exhibitors, sponsors, and advertisers, and now we will work towards the future, satisfied with the result of this fair, but always with our minds set on improving and growing,” added Nora Rinaldi de Gennari Litta, President of Monografie, and anticipating the dates of the next edition of SAGSE Latam, on March 19 and 20, 2025.

“This news is in addition to Monografie’s next proposal, the creation of LACBA, an association of associations, entrepreneurs, and executives from Latin America, that seeks to rescue and give new value to the land-based gaming market, and about which we will be able to talk in greater detail in a few weeks”, concluded Burak, who was clearly pleased with the outcome of the event.

The organizer thus left floating a concept that echoed in most of the attendees: SAGSE has an extensive history, reflecting the attention to detail of Nora Rinaldi from Gennari Litta and Alan Burak’s fresh approach, always focused on experience and networking. Both factors undoubtedly promise a great future for Argentina’s traditional exhibition, which next year will expand its space and will once again seek to surprise the gaming industry throughout the region.
