Gaming in Europe has confirmed that the 2026 Gaming in Germany Conference will be held on November 10, 2026, at the DoubleTree Hilton Ku’damm in Berlin.

The annual conference serves as a key gathering for professionals involved in Germany’s regulated online gambling sector. Attendees can expect in-depth discussions on the latest regulatory developments, including the evaluation of the GlüStV 2021, as well as market growth, player protection, eSports, marketing, compliance, and more.

Despite the event being some time away, organizers have already announced several high-profile speakers. They include:

  • Dr. Jörg Hofmann, Senior Partner at Melchers Law;
  • A senior representative from GGL;
  • Dr. Dirk Quermann, President of DOCV;
  • Mathias Dahms, President of DSWV;
  • The VP of Games at ZEAL Network;
  • Prof. Dr. Christian Piska from the University of Vienna;
  • Dr. Nepomuk Nothelfer, Assistant Professor at the University of Agder and Attorney at Melchers Law;
  • And Josh Hodgson, COO of H2 Gambling Capital.

Willem van Oort, Founder of Gaming in Germany, said: “After last year’s highly successful edition of our annual Gaming in Germany Conference, we are extremely pleased to return to Berlin in 2026. As always, we aim to connect the industry with regulatory and social stakeholders, and vice versa.

This year, we will be learning more about the outcome of the ongoing evaluation of the 2021 State Gambling Treaty, as well as the resulting impact on Germany’s regulated iGaming market. The Gaming in Germany Conference is also THE place to meet the key decision makers in Germany’s regulated iGaming industry, which means that there will be plenty of reasons to join us in Berlin.”
