iGaming developer Wazdan has been shortlisted in two categories at the SBC Awards Europe 2026, earning recognition for both sound design and gameplay delivery. The company is a contender for Game Music / Soundtrack and Game Studio of the Year – Medium.
The Game Music / Soundtrack category draws attention to the role of audio direction in shaping game presentation. Sound design forms part of how titles are experienced, alongside visual and technical elements delivered from the first spin.
Wazdan is also shortlisted for Game Studio of the Year – Medium, a category covering suppliers operating across regulated markets. The nomination considers delivery across iGaming portfolios, including consistency in releases and development output.
The two nominations point to both individual game components and overall studio activity. Together, they align with Wazdan’s approach to producing titles that integrate design, technical execution, and defined product structure, the company said.
“Being shortlisted in two categories at the SBC Awards Europe 2026 is a proud moment for the entire Wazdan team and a meaningful reflection of the work that goes into every part of what we create,” said Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan.
Across its portfolio, Wazdan continues to focus on in-house development, alongside the rollout of recognizable game families and gameplay formats intended to drive retention.
“Game development is about much more than mechanics alone. The overall experience matters, and that includes the way a game looks, feels, and sounds from the very first spin. To see Wazdan recognised both for soundtrack and for our wider studio performance is incredibly rewarding,” Hyla added.
