
Boomerang Partners has launched the third season of its Golden Boomerang Awards, an annual global competition for affiliate teams, with this year’s edition placing emphasis on sustained performance and industry recognition.
The tournament, which opened for registration on April 3, is organised by Boomerang Partners, an Official Regional Partner of AC Milan, and has grown into one of the largest competitions in the affiliate marketing sector, attracting hundreds of teams worldwide.
First introduced in 2024, the Golden Boomerang Awards have expanded rapidly, with participation rising from 226 teams in its inaugural season to more than 400 in its second edition. The 2025 awards ceremony featured football legend Andrea Pirlo, who presented 11 awards to top-performing teams, and earned Boomerang Partners the Best Live Event Marketing Campaign accolade at the European iGaming Awards 2026.
This year’s competition is being held under the theme “Beyond the Moment,” reflecting a shift towards rewarding consistent, long-term performance rather than short-term gains. The tournament will feature 11 award categories, with finalists set to be recognised at a closing ceremony in Lisbon.
Participants will earn points by generating first-time deposits (FTDs) for brands within Boomerang Partners’ portfolio. The competition is structured in three stages from April 3 to June 9, June 10 to July 19, and July 20 to August 31, with late entrants still able to compete through catch-up mechanics.
Incentives include high-profile sporting experiences, with the first stage winner receiving a trip to Wimbledon Championships and the second stage winner attending the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The overall winner will be offered an exclusive dinner with an AC Milan legend.
“The Golden Boomerang Awards have evolved into a platform where real market leaders are defined. Each season raises the level of competition, and 2026 will be no exception,” said Anton Eshtokin, Chief Marketing Officer at Boomerang Partners.
Eshtokin said a packed global sporting calendar would provide further opportunities for affiliates. “Alongside that, we’re elevating the overall experience — from high-value rewards to exclusive formats for top performers. The finale will be held in a top-tier international location and designed as a true industry highlight,” he added.
