A slot machine linked to the Megabucks progressive network delivered a jackpot exceeding $10 million at a Las Vegas casino, according to an announcement from International Game Technology.

The win occurred on April 1, 2026, at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where a player secured a payout of $10,486,432.04 on the Megabucks Triple Red Hot 7s Spitfire Multipliers game. The individual, who chose not to be identified, triggered the top prize with a $5.00 wager.

The Megabucks brand has been awarding large jackpots since its introduction in 1986, positioning it among the longest-running progressive slot systems in operation, IGT noted.

The jackpot win adds to the series of high-value payouts associated with wide-area progressive slot machines, which pool contributions from multiple machines to build large prize amounts.

IGT, headquartered in Las Vegas, operates across gaming, digital, and financial technology segments. Last month, the company launched a North America advertising campaign to mark the 30th anniversary of the popular Wheel of Fortune Slots.

The multi-phase campaign, which will run over nine months, will be distributed across social media, digital platforms, outdoor placements, and traditional media channels. It will also feature a scheduled airing on the Wheel of Fortune television game show in May.
