Las Vegas is gearing up for another action-packed poker season, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking to position itself at the center of the action. This summer, the venue will host the 2026 DeepStack Championship Poker Series, featuring more than $16 million in guaranteed prize pools and a total of 121 events.
Running from May 18 through August 2, the series marks an expansion from last year’s 116 events, continuing a steady growth trend that reflects both rising demand and the tournament’s increasing global appeal. In 2025, the festival attracted nearly 30,000 entries and awarded close to $30 million in prize money, drawing a diverse field that ranged from seasoned professionals to recreational players.
The 2026 lineup includes a strong mix of No Limit Hold’em events, seniors tournaments, and marquee stops tied to established poker tours. Among the key highlights:
- June 6–10: $1,100 NLH ($1 million guarantee)
- June 11–14: $1,100 Seniors NLH ($1 million guarantee)
- June 19–22: $1,600 Seniors NLH ($1.5 million guarantee)
- June 30–July 2: $2,500 NLH LIPS Ladies High Roller ($150K guarantee)
- July 11–14: $1,100 NLH MSPT ($1 million guarantee)
- July 15–19: $1,600 NLH MSPT ($1 million guarantee)
With buy-ins ranging from accessible mid-stakes to higher-tier events, the schedule is designed to appeal to a wide spectrum of players, while still delivering the kind of prize pools typically associated with major international festivals.
The DeepStack Championship is part of a broader poker ecosystem developed by The Venetian, which includes year-round series such as the DeepStack Extravaganza and DeepStack Showdown. These formats emphasize deeper starting stacks, longer blind levels, and player-friendly structures.
The summer championship, however, represents the flagship offering. Its scale and structure allow both amateurs and professionals to compete on equal footing, whether chasing their first deep run or targeting six-figure scores.
Recent editions have already delivered notable winners and strong participation figures. In 2025, renowned players like Patrick Leonard and Josh Reichard captured titles at the Venetian, underlining the event’s ability to attract top-tier talent while maintaining broad accessibility.
