EGT’s gaming equipment has entered the Icelandic market with its first installation at Casino Haspenna in Reykjavik, the country’s largest gaming establishment.

The casino, which operates under a licence from the University of Iceland Lottery, has installed EGT’s Bell Link jackpot system housed in the company’s General Series G 27-27 ST cabinets.

The installation offers players access to titles from the Bell Link 1 and Bell Link 2 game mixes. The Bell Link system features stand-alone Mini and Minor jackpot levels assigned to individual machines, while the higher-value Grand and Major jackpots are linked across all EGT cabinets on the casino floor.

Madlen Matevosian, Business Development Manager at EGT, described the deployment as an important milestone for the company.

“We are pleased to establish our presence on the Icelandic market and consider this installation a significant milestone for our company,” Matevosian said. “The installation process and overall cooperation have been very positive, and we highly appreciate the professionalism, support, and collaborative approach of the team of the University of Iceland Lottery.”

We are confident that our products have strong potential in the region and believe this partnership builds a strong foundation for long-term cooperation,” Matevosian added.

The move marks a strategic step for EGT in a highly regulated and selective gaming market, expanding the company’s footprint in Northern Europe.

Arna Ómarsdóttir, Director of Operations at the University of Iceland Lottery, welcomed the addition of EGT’s products to the casino floor.

“We welcome EGT as a new vendor and view this as a positive step in further strengthening our gaming offering,” Ómarsdóttir said. “We’re particularly excited to see how their machines will be received on our floor, as this is exactly the kind of addition that keeps our gaming experience fresh and compelling for players.”

The installation marks EGT’s entry into Iceland and represents its first presence in the country.
