Everton Football Club has agreed a multi-year deal that will make Stake its Official Sleeve Partner from the start of the 2026/27 season, shifting the betting brand’s logo from the front of the shirt to the sleeve. The amendment is designed to avoid the upcoming ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsorship in English football.
Stake has served as Everton’s Main Partner for the past four seasons. The new agreement continues the relationship in a revised format as Everton’s men’s and women’s teams build on their first seasons at Hill Dickinson Stadium and Goodison Park, respectively.
From the 2026-27 season, kicking off in August, Premier League clubs can no longer feature gambling brands on the front of their shirts. However, the rules do allow other forms of commercial arrangements, including sleeve sponsorship and branding placement in and around stadiums.
As sleeve partner, Stake will continue to appear across Everton’s matchday and digital channels, while its branding will also be visible at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Goodison Park and Finch Farm.
Andrew Middleton, Everton’s President of Business Operations, said: “Stake has been a major supporter of Everton over the past four seasons and this agreement reflects both the strength of our relationship and the continued growth of Everton’s commercial partnership portfolio.
“It also provides continuity with a partner that understands the Club, our supporters and the global reach of Everton Football Club. As we continue to build commercial momentum, this agreement demonstrates the value partners see in Everton, our new stadium and the direction of the Club. We are pleased to see our relationship with Stake evolve and look forward to continuing to work together across the coming seasons.”
The partnership has included fan giveaways, matchday experiences, digital content, international ambassador visits, UFC-led player content and F1 simulator activity. Stake also supported Her Game Too around the Merseyside derby by donating its warm-up shirt space to promote the campaign’s work tackling sexism and championing women in football.
Founded in 2017, Stake is an online sportsbook and casino with millions of users worldwide and a presence across sport and entertainment. Its portfolio includes UFC, X Games, Street League Skateboarding, eSports and cricket, supported by ambassadors including UFC fighters Alex Pereira, Max Holloway and Tracy Cortez, skateboarders Chris Joslin and Nyjah Huston, and former Premier League players Sergio Aguero, Patrice Evra and Eden Hazard.
Stake Chief Marketing Officer Akhil Sarin said the Everton partnership has been important to the company and has provided a platform to reach audiences internationally during a significant period for the club.
“We look forward to building on the partnership as Official Sleeve Partner and to continuing to work with Everton to deliver engaging content, experiences and activations for fans.”
Everton and Stake said partnership activity will continue to be delivered responsibly and in compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards and marketing requirements.
