Play’n GO has launched its casino content in Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market, going live with more than 10 licensed operators on the market’s opening day.

The Canadian province opened its regulated commercial iGaming market at midnight on Monday, July 13, becoming the second Canadian province after Ontario to permit private online sports betting and casino operators under provincial oversight.

The move marks the company’s third regulated Canadian province, following its established operations in Ontario and Québec, and strengthens its North American expansion strategy focused on regulated jurisdictions.

With the Alberta launch, players can access a selection of Play’n GO’s casino titles from the first day of regulated operations. By partnering with a broad network of licensed operators at launch, the supplier further reinforces its position as a trusted content provider in newly regulated markets.

The company said the rollout builds on Play’n GO’s ongoing collaboration with regulators and operator partners to deliver compliant, high-quality gaming experiences while supporting the long-term sustainability of regulated markets.

Esteban Perez, New Market Entry Lead of Play’n GO, said: “Entering Alberta with more than 10 operators on day one of regulation is a significant milestone for Play’n GO and a testament to the strength of our regulated market strategy. Canada continues to be a key focus for us, and expanding into our third province reflects both the demand for our content and the strength of our partnerships with licensed operators.

We are proud to support Alberta’s regulated market with a portfolio that prioritises entertainment, compliance and long-term sustainability.”
