Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen was featured throughout ESPN’s opening coverage of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, which aired on July 21 on ESPN2.
The first two episodes premiered on July 21 on ESPN2, covering the tournament’s opening flights and Day 2 action.
Foxen received recurring airtime as he built his chip stack, applied pressure at the table and navigated key decisions. His Americas Cardroom Pro patch was visible throughout the broadcasts as ESPN followed his progress during the early stages of the Main Event.
One of the highlighted hands saw Foxen facing an all-in decision against Vinh Nguyen. After taking time to assess the situation and listen to Nguyen’s table talk, Foxen made the call and won a sizable pot.
The featured hand gave viewers a closer look at Foxen’s approach at the table. He entered the Main Event after winning the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event for $594,246 and capturing his fourth WSOP bracelet. Foxen joined the Americas Cardroom Pro roster in May alongside Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen.
Fellow Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker also appeared during the opening episodes, representing Americas Cardroom in the tournament coverage. His 2003 Main Event victory followed a low-buy-in online qualification and helped expand the television audience for tournament poker.
ESPN’s multi-year agreement with the WSOP includes more than 100 hours of coverage, additional Main Event episodes and three nights of live final-table broadcasts.
The Main Event final table is scheduled to air from Aug. 3 to 5 on ESPN and ESPN2.
