Sportsbook technology provider FIRST.bet has launched its sportsbook technology in Argentina through a partnership with platform provider ONDISS, enabling regulated operator City Center Online to offer online sports betting in the province of Santa Fe.
The rollout expands City Center Online’s offering by integrating FIRST.bet’s sportsbook engine into ONDISS’ online gaming platform.
The launch follows the Santa Fe Lottery’s authorization of online sports betting, making City Center Online one of the first licensed .bet.ar operators to offer the product in the province within the regulated framework.
The partnership marks FIRST.bet’s entry into Argentina and strengthens ONDISS’ position as a technology provider for regulated operators across Latin America.
“ONDISS and City Center Online wanted technology built for real market conditions, not a feed dressed up as a sportsbook,” Tom Light, Founder and Chief Executive of FIRST.bet, said. “That’s what FIRST delivers. Speed, control and the product depth players in Argentina expect.”
Facundo Giorgi, Chief Executive of ONDISS, said the integration reflects the company’s strategy of bringing international gaming technology to regulated operators in the region.
“At Ondiss, we are committed to bringing our operators the best technology solutions from around the world. The integration of FIRST into our platform reflects that commitment and expands the opportunities available to our customers,” Giorgi said.
“FIRST’s decision to begin its expansion into Argentina alongside Ondiss reinforces our position as a strategic partner for international suppliers looking to grow in Latin America’s regulated gaming markets. We are excited about the value this partnership will bring to our operators.“
Gonzalo Alvarez, Chief Commercial Officer of ONDISS, said the addition of FIRST.bet’s sportsbook technology addresses key operational requirements for operators in the country’s regulated market.
“By bringing FIRST to our ecosystem, we are addressing a critical issue: settlement speed and the depth and number of real-time markets. Today’s player doesn’t wait; if the platform doesn’t respond, they leave,” Alvarez said. “With this alliance, our platform is not only more robust, it’s more profitable for those who trust us. Less friction equals more seamless bets and equals higher gross gaming revenue.”
“This isn’t just about a new product; it’s about strengthening our value proposition and giving our operators the tools to continue growing in an increasingly demanding market.
“With a diverse and innovative offering of games and events, Ondiss reinforces its position as the leading platform in the Argentine sports betting and casino gaming market,” Alvarez added. “ONDISS developed the online sports betting vertical for City Center Online as part of the launch, allowing the operator to expand its entertainment offering with FIRST.bet’s sportsbook technology.
