Digitain has received a National Manufacturer License from South Africa’s gambling regulatory authority, allowing the iGaming solutions provider to begin commercial discussions with prospective partners in the country.
The license permits Digitain to engage with licensed operators in South Africa as part of its strategy to enter regulated jurisdictions. The company said the approval follows continued growth across the African continent.
“Receiving our National Manufacturer License in South Africa is another significant milestone in Digitain’s regulatory journey,” said Arshak Muradyan, Group Chief Compliance Officer at Digitain.
“Entering regulated markets has always been a key priority for us, and this milestone demonstrates our ongoing commitment to compliance, operational excellence and responsible business practices,” Muradyan added. “South Africa is an important and fast-growing market, and we look forward to building strong partnerships while delivering trusted, market-leading technology to licensed operators.”
Digitain will support licensed operators in South Africa through its sportsbook offering, the Centrivo iGaming platform, and its wider suite of gaming solutions. The company said it will continue to meet compliance, security and operational standards as it works with partners in the jurisdiction.
Digitain added that it will maintain investment in local partnerships, market expertise and technology development across Africa following the South Africa license approval.
