EGT has expanded its presence in El Salvador through a new installation at Imperius Casino in San Miguel, one of the country’s largest cities. The project marks the first collaboration between the Bulgarian gaming equipment manufacturer and the casino operator, as well as the first casino opening the two companies have carried out together.
The installation includes P 24-24 UP cabinets from EGT’s Premier series featuring the Lady’s Cards and Premium Link jackpots, alongside G 27-27 ST machines from the General series offering Bell Link 1 and Bell Link 2. EGT described Bell Link 1 and Bell Link 2 as part of an international trend toward progressive jackpot systems and said the combination provides Imperius Casino with an expanded gaming portfolio.
Elizabeth Carrion, Business Development Manager at EGT for Peru, El Salvador and Venezuela, said the partnership represents an important stage in the company’s development in El Salvador as it seeks to expand its direct presence in the market. She said the project was notable because it was EGT’s first collaboration with the operator and the first casino inauguration undertaken by the two companies together.

Imperius Casino was officially inaugurated following completion of the equipment installation. The venue now operates slot products from both EGT cabinet series as part of its gaming offering.
