Foxwoods Resort Casino generated $32.9 million in slot revenue in July, leading to an $8.3 million payment to the State of Connecticut under the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s slot revenue agreement.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has provided more than $4.9 billion from Foxwoods slot revenue to the state budget fund since 1993.
The casino paid out more than $21.1 million in jackpots during July, with more than 3,000 jackpots awarded across the gaming floor. The month’s biggest jackpot was $160,000 on Double Top Dollar, while an IGT Wheel of Fortune slot machine produced a $1.2 million progressive jackpot.
Foxwoods also set a Guinness World Records title on July 4 for the largest payout for a bingo game at a single bingo house. Its Firecracker Bingo event awarded a record $440,000 jackpot.
The casino introduced The Innovation Zone in July, adding newer slot and table games to its gaming floor. The area features Destroyer – Naval Strike, Cosmic Crash, Battle 1-2-3 and Jackpot Blitz, as well as high-limit slots including Thunder Empire, Spooky Link Mo Mummy, Spooky Link Yo Yeti, Mo Mo Mo Mummy, Wheel of Fortune Cash on Reels Superspin, Huff N’ Triple Puff, Piggy Banking Break In and Super Hot Flaming Pots: Mr. Wong.
Foxwoods also added Zitro Fantasy, Brave Dragon Wutai, and Brave Dragon Emei to its wider slot offering.
Other additions included AGS’s Diamond Nudge and Gold Nudge at The Fox Tower, and Light & Wonder’s Monster Jackpots, featuring The Mummy and Frankenstein Returns, at the Great Pequot Tower.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation owns and operates Foxwoods Resort Casino on its reservation in Ledyard, Connecticut. The 9-million-sq-ft resort comprises six casinos, more than 250 gaming tables and over 5,500 slot machines. It also includes two hotel towers with 2,228 rooms in total and an arcade for children and teenagers.
In June, Foxwoods generated $28.1 million in slot revenue and made a $7.2 million payment to the State of Connecticut. Guests won more than $15.8 million from 2,521 jackpots during the month, with the biggest payout reaching $95,738 on Blazing 777 2x3x5x.
