ParlayX has closed a $1.25 million pre-seed funding round to develop an institutional infrastructure layer for prediction markets. Copenhagen-based Dreamcraft Ventures led the round, which also drew participation from a group of angel investors.

Angel backers include Pet Berisha of Sporting Crypto, Jeffrey Haas of ID8, Jack Corddry, formerly of Frax Finance, and Devin Ardalan, president of US operations at EVG. Based on deal size, the raise ranks in the top third of pre-seed rounds in the sector.

ParlayX positions its platform as a non-custodial, fund-grade infrastructure layer built for institutional participants in prediction markets. The offering includes order routing, custody and capital control tools, along with granular permissioning and unified portfolio visibility across accounts.

At the center of the platform is an order and execution management system (OEMS) that spans multiple prediction market venues, built for trading desks, market makers, and quantitative funds rather than individual retail traders.

The design departs from the industry’s conventional single-user, single-account structure. ParlayX’s system allows multiple participants within an organization to operate under shared infrastructure and coordinate positions, a structure the company says is suited to institutional trading operations rather than casual, one-person accounts.

ParlayX has connected its platform to four prediction market venues to date: Kalshi, Polymarket, Limitless and ProphetX. The company plans to add Novig and Polymarket US early in the NFL season.

ParlayX has also onboarded its first 10 market makers, who use the company’s API and SDK to run algorithmic trading strategies across the connected venues. A waitlist of additional quantitative desks and hedge funds is in progress.

The new capital will fund additional venue integrations, upgrades to ParlayX’s proprietary smart order routing algorithms and the scaling of its global go-to-market operations.

“Prediction markets are rapidly maturing into a multi-billion-dollar asset class, but the underlying infrastructure has remained heavily fragmented and retail-focused,” said Dreamcraft Ventures general partner Nikolaj Nyholm.

ParlayX CEO and co-founder Andrew Gonzalez is scheduled to speak at the Global Prediction Markets Forum at SBC in Lisbon, along with multiple prediction market-focused events in New York later this year, as part of the company’s plan to raise its industry profile.
