Win Systems has announced the sale of its Gaming Division, including its Gold Club electronic roulette business, to Primero Games, a U.S.-based provider of gaming content, technology and products.
“The transaction marks an important new chapter for Win Systems’ Gaming Division, bringing together WSG’s established international presence, product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and customer relationships with Primero’s game content, technology and development resources,” Win Systems said in a press release.
Win Systems’ Gaming Division has built an international presence, with an installed base of more than 3,000 gaming positions across Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Panama, as well as operations and customers in other markets around the world.
“This combination makes both businesses stronger,” said Eric Benchimol, CEO of Win Systems. “Pairing our installed base, manufacturing operations and market knowledge with Primero’s game library and development engine means we can bring more, and better, products to our customers faster than either company could alone. The team is energized, and we’re looking forward to getting to work as part of Primero.”

Under Primero’s ownership, the Gaming Division will continue to support its existing customers, products and operations while gaining access to Primero’s broader game library, platform technology and development capabilities.
Primero’s portfolio includes game content, online gaming solutions, redemption kiosks, and a mature omnichannel gaming platform, mostly targeting the US market. The WSG acquisition adds established products, manufacturing capabilities, and long-standing customer relationships in international markets.
