The Gaming in Germany Conference has announced the initial agenda for this year’s edition.
Regulators, lawyers and payment providers will gather in Berlin on November 10 to discuss topics affecting the country’s regulated iGaming market at the 2026 Gaming in Germany Conference, held at the DoubleTree Hilton Ku’damm, roughly 100 meters from Kurfürstendamm.
Key topics of this year’s edition include the ongoing evaluation of the 2021 State Gambling Treaty, strategies for countering offshore offerings, the current and future permissibility of new products such as prediction betting and sweepstakes, online casino (table game) licensing across Germany, the future of the remaining gambling monopolies in Germany and Austria, and market re-regulation in Austria.
Gaming in Germany founder Willem van Oort commented: “These are all topics that are highly relevant for running a successful iGaming business in Germany. The possibility of being able to offer new products is always exciting, and the opening of Austria’s regulated online casino market will bring fresh opportunities to operators that are already active in German-speaking areas.
