1xAffiliates brought former footballer Blaise Matuidi to its exhibition stand at AIBC Eurasia in Dubai, blending traditional networking with interactive football-themed activities as part of its ongoing partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The AIBC Eurasia conference, held in Dubai from Feb. 9 to 11, saw the affiliate marketing brand host the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and World Cup winner with France at its booth. Matuidi posed for photos, signed autographs and took part in a football simulator challenge alongside visitors.
Attendees competed with Matuidi in penalty kicks, free kicks and tested their reflexes in a virtual goalkeeper challenge. According to the company, demand to participate exceeded the capacity of the venue, with more than 50 guests receiving autographs and others sharing photos with the player on social media.
The former player’s appearance at the 1xAffiliates booth was part of the programme’s partnership with Paris Saint-Germain, highlighting what it described as a long-term relationship of trust between the brands.
The interactive zone combined sports and technology with business networking, as the company sought to strengthen relationships with partners during the event.
1xAffiliates offers lifetime commissions of up to 50% on referred players, supports more than 250 payment methods and operates across over 150 countries. Partners are provided with personalized analytics, profit growth reports and localized support in 69 languages.
The programme, which has operated internationally for 10 years, has received industry recognition through awards from IGA, SiGMA and SBC, according to the company.
