With one month remaining before the announcement of winners, the Casino Guru Awards 2026 have entered the final stage of assessment, as organizers complete evaluations of shortlisted nominees across multiple categories focused on responsibility and transparency in online gambling.
The awards differ from conventional industry recognitions by focusing on measurable actions rather than brand visibility, according to Casino Guru. Organizers assess nominees using a combination of internal data tools and expert review, drawing on resources such as the platform’s Safety Index and Complaint Resolution Center to evaluate performance and player outcomes.
The final stage involves a detailed examination of each shortlisted entry, including direct engagement with candidates and discussions among judges to assess the depth and impact of their contributions. This process follows the closure of nominations and the completion of shortlisting.
While internal evaluations progress, two categories remain open to public participation. The Player’s Choice and Voice of the People awards continue to accept votes, allowing users to influence the final outcome alongside expert assessment.

The winners will be announced on May 25 at Xara Lodge in Malta, ahead of the NEXT Valletta conference. The event is expected to host approximately 150 attendees, including operators and other industry participants.
In addition to the awards presentation, the ceremony will include networking opportunities, entertainment, and an after-event gathering. The event is positioned as a meeting point for stakeholders engaged in shaping industry standards.
