Harry Reid International Airport processed more than 4.3 million arriving and departing passengers in April, with traffic levels continuing to run below those recorded a year earlier.
According to monthly passenger statistics released by the Clark County Department of Aviation, the Las Vegas airport handled 4,379,755 travelers during the month, compared with 4,716,039 passengers in April 2025, representing a 7.13% year-over-year decline.
Passenger traffic through the first four months of 2026 reached 16,935,330 travelers, down 5.6% from the 17,940,001 passengers recorded during the same period last year.
Domestic travel remained the largest contributor to overall airport activity. In April, Harry Reid International Airport served 4,039,313 domestic passengers, a decrease of 6.6% compared with April 2025.
International passenger volumes recorded a steeper decline than domestic traffic. The airport reported 272,386 international travelers in April, down 12.4% year-over-year.
The Department of Aviation said passenger data from Spirit Airlines was unavailable following the carrier’s collapse at the beginning of May. To complete the April report, airport officials used ratios derived from Spirit Airlines’ passenger data from the previous three months.
