Sportsbook and casino operator Tonybet has launched X-Multi Tournaments, a month-long slots promotion for eligible players in Canada featuring a combined C$50,000 ($35,659) prize pool.
The promotion, which runs from August 3 to August 30, combines four weekly tournaments with an overall monthly leaderboard. Players can compete for cash prizes as well as 100,000 Bonus Spins and 1,000 Bonus Games.
Players qualify automatically by placing real-money bets of at least C$0.75 on participating slot games in the Tonybet casino lobby. Scores are based on a win-multiplier mechanic, calculated by dividing the win amount by the bet size. The same qualifying win can count toward both the weekly and monthly leaderboards if it meets the relevant tournament criteria.
Each weekly tournament features a separate leaderboard, with players’ top five qualifying win multipliers determining their ranking. Two hundred players will receive prizes each week, including cash awards for the highest finishers alongside 100 Bonus Games and 10,000 Bonus Spins on Big Bass Splash.
The monthly competition runs concurrently, with players ranked according to their top 20 qualifying win multipliers recorded during the promotional period.
The monthly leaderboard will award cash prizes to the highest-ranked players, while the remaining eligible winners will receive rewards including 600 Bonus Games and 60,000 Bonus Spins. A total of 900 players will receive prizes in the monthly tournament.
Players are eligible to win one prize in each tournament, allowing them to claim up to four weekly prizes and one monthly prize during the promotion.
According to the company, the X-Multi Tournaments form part of its ongoing strategy to expand gamified casino promotions across its regulated markets. The promotion went live for the operator’s Canadian casino players on Aug. 3.
