During the closing event of BiS SiGMA Americas, the organizers highlighted the “impressive growth experienced this year” and were surprised by the very positive outcome of the event and the trade show held last week at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“We are really very satisfied with the result, we expected about 150 companies, and finally about 250 participated, and we estimated about 4,000 visitors, but the data confirmed at the end of the third day tells us that more than 7,000 people were present, which shows the success of this event,” said Alessandro Valente in conversation with Yogonet, emphasizing that “BiS SiGMA Americas is already the most important iGaming event in Latin America”.

Additionally, Valente made emphasis on “the amount of business that has been generated during the event, and we have received comments from many people who no longer see the need to travel abroad because now it is the foreigners who have massively come to Brazil.”

Carlos Cardama, co-founder together with Valente of the Brazilian iGaming Summit, currently merged with SiGMA, said in a statement to the press that “it was truly an international fair, which surprised us with the highly qualified public”, and emphasized that they experienced “the great joy of being the best event in Latin America”.

“The world’s big companies, and those with the greatest technical and financial capacity, are here in São Paulo,” Cardama added, highlighting the work done by his SiGMA partners.

And Valente concluded: “Thanks to the merger with SiGMA, we were able to bring to the exhibition center and to the conferences, big names in the international industry who still felt insecure about participating in events in Brazil or in Latin America. SiGMA has enormous experience, and Eman Pulis is a market legend. We had two pavilions booked and the demand was so great that we had to hire a third. That’s why we owe the 30% to 40% growth of the fair to this merger.”

In this way, the organizers guaranteed the holding of a great event next year, “with many new and better proposals”, which although they did not make an official announcement last week with a definitive date, it is possible that it will go from June 2023 to April 2024. We will have to wait for the definitive confirmation to schedule this new unmissable event for the sector in Latin America.
