Fanatics Betting and Gaming has announced a long-term partnership with the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes to become the Official Sports Betting Partner of the team. This partnership also secures North Carolina market access for the company’s online sports betting platform, Fanatics Sportsbook, subject to regulatory and licensing approvals.

Regulated online sports betting is expected to launch in North Carolina in March 2024. Through this partnership, Fanatics Sportsbook will gain access to the North Carolina online market and have the opportunity to establish a retail sports betting house at PNC Arena.
Additionally, the partnership includes marketing assets such as in-arena signage, broadcast integrations, PNC Arena activations, and other opportunities for Hurricanes fans to engage with Fanatics Sportsbook.

Fanatics Sportsbook officially launched in August 2023 and is currently operational in ten states. According to the company, the platform offers a user-friendly interface, with quick sign-up, easy betting, transparent withdrawals, live streaming, search functionality, the ability to earn FanCash on bets, and a Discover page featuring the most relevant sports and bets for customers.
In a press release, both Fanatics Betting and Gaming and the Carolina Hurricanes emphasized the importance of responsible gaming as part of the partnership, incorporating it as a core principle of both organizations. Online customers will have access to Responsible Gaming tools to help manage their time and money.
