Gaming supplier Zitro announced Thursday that game directors from Andalucia, the Valencian Community, La Rioja and Catalonia have visited the company’s facilities in Barcelona.

Those invited included the Director General of Taxes and Gambling of the Valencian Community, Inmaculada Domínguez Calomarde; the Director General of Taxes, Financing, Financial Relations with Local Corporations, and Gambling of the Andalusian Regional Government, Jesús Ignacio Pérez Aguilera; the Director General of Taxes of the Government of La Rioja, Jesús Ángel Garrido Martínez; and the Deputy General Director of Management and Control of Gambling and Betting of the Government of Catalonia, Rosa María García Moreno.

The directors who visited the facility were accompanied by Zitro executives including Manuela Jiménez, Vice President; Marta Cuesta, Vice President of Product and Development; and Cristina García, Director of Institutional Relations. The authorities toured the various departments located at the Zitro Technological Campus.

This campus is where the software development for video slot games, video bingo, and Electronic Bingo takes place, along with the design of hardware and projects for Zitro Digital, the online gaming division of Zitro. The company says that the delegates had the opportunity to witness firsthand the creative process behind each product.

Zitro notes that its campus accommodates more than 450 employees in 12,000 m2 dedicated to research and development, creation, development, and manufacturing of Zitro products. It also houses state-of-the-art video and sound recording studios, as well as a facility dedicated to the assembly and quality control of machines.

All of this is contained within a sustainable building, with a surface area of 528m² of solar panels and a charging station for electric vehicles.

Manuela Jiménez expressed gratitude and said: “We are very thankful to the authorities for their interest in getting to know our Technological Campus. We take pride in showcasing our idea factory in detail, where Zitro’s great team turns them into unique experiences for players worldwide, using the most advanced technology in the market.”
