HIPTHER has launched HIPTHER.FM, an artificial intelligence-powered online radio station that delivers continuous business and technology news coverage, as the media and events company looks to offer professionals an audio-first alternative to traditional newsletters and news websites.
The platform provides hourly news bulletins, AI-generated radio hosts, curated music programming and on-demand archived broadcasts covering sectors including gaming, fintech, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, payments and emerging technologies.
The station broadcasts fresh news bulletins every weekday from 7:00 a.m. to 19:00 CET. Headlines are sourced from industry RSS feeds, converted into radio scripts using artificial intelligence and narrated by AI-generated voices before being published on the live stream and as archived episodes.
The launch expands HIPTHER’s media portfolio, which includes industry news, conferences, interviews and podcasts focused on technology and regulated industries.
Unlike conventional text-to-speech services, HIPTHER.FM is designed to replicate the experience of a traditional radio station, featuring AI-generated presenters, station jingles and themed music programming between hourly news updates.
According to the company, AI-generated morning hosts Marcus and Nova guide listeners through programming with introductions and transitions, while all music played on the station is AI-generated and tailored to daily themes.
HIPTHER says transparency was a core design principle of the platform, with AI-generated voices clearly identified so listeners know when content has been produced using artificial intelligence.
The company added that the platform aligns with the transparency objectives of the European Union’s AI Act and is intended to complement, rather than replace, journalism by converting trusted information into an audio format.
“Media consumption habits have shifted dramatically, yet busy tech executives still struggle to keep up with rapid sector changes without drowning in information overload,” Zoltán Tündik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER, said.
“With HIPTHER.FM, we’re leveraging state-of-the-art AI technology to bridge that gap, taking trusted content and turning it into an effortless, ambient, and engaging audio experience tailored specifically to the rhythm of the modern workday.”
The service is now available, offering around-the-clock access to AI-generated news, radio hosts, music programming and archived news bulletins.
