Crypto casino BetFury reported a 66.06% increase in active users during its Fury World Cup ’26 campaign, which concluded July 27 after distributing $600,000 through five parallel promotions tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Compared with the 43 days preceding the campaign, total bets increased 16.93%, and deposits rose 7.53%. The company said the difference between the increase in active users and the smaller rise in deposits indicated larger participation, rather than concentrated spending.
The World Cup final between Argentina and Spain generated the campaign’s highest numbers for users, bets and total amount wagered.
The $600,000 prize pool was distributed through sports betting competitions, missions, prediction contests and a raffle. Three sports Battles (First Kick, Final Whistle and Midfield) each awarded $40,000 in BFG tokens and Free Bets among 150 winners.
A separate Sport Missions Journey included 115 Missions, while the Mundial Prediction Event was free to enter and awarded between two and 12 points for each correct match-winner prediction depending on the stage of the World Cup. The top 100 participants in the prediction event divided a $20,000 prize pool.
The Golden Ticket Raffle concluded the campaign by distributing $100,000 to randomly selected holders of qualifying lottery tickets.
BetFury also began promotional activity before the main phase of the competition. Users were able to add the event to their calendars and receive No Risk Bet rewards, while the Fury World Cup ’26 Giveaway selected 30 users at random to receive $100 each in Free Bets. Those activities, alongside other initiatives, preceded the tournament’s group-stage and playoff matches.
The campaign combined predictions, missions, competitions and rewards around the football tournament instead of limiting activity to advertising linked to the event. BetFury said the program was intended to increase participation among players while translating interest in the tournament into higher platform activity and revenue.
“A tournament that comes around once every four years deserved more than a standard promotion, so we built an event on the same scale,” said the CEO of BetFury. “What matters most is how many of our users took part, and a 74.66% jump in GGR shows that engagement translated into real commercial return. That is the foundation we will keep building future events around.”
Following the end of Fury World Cup ’26, BetFury said the campaign left it with a larger active-user base, improved platform metrics and a model that could be applied to future large-scale campaigns.
